This week…

A perfect time to offer some overview of what was and what will be… so, last week was good, a lot done by the Deva Legion, Chester – all topped off with an impromptu ride down to Sycamore H-D in Wolverhampton… The next week or so (and some bits that need booking/ planning) is exciting too…

This Saturday, we have an open breakfast at Chocks Away Diner in Broughton from 10am. In March, we’re having a social with indoor golf in Liverpool, there’s a ride down to Portsmouth with an overnighter in April, supporting ‘Normandy 80’ and so much more including the monthly meeting plans and looking towards September and the Rally in the Valley.

We’re really pleased too, the committee have worked hard and secured discounts and deals with official H-D partners as we encourage our members to use the H.O.G providers! Well done everyone, ride safe.

What a Weekend

Fantastic to see so many members of the Deva Legion, Chester at the Chocks Away Diner last weekend… we’re getting bigger and bigger (that’ll be the cooked breakfasts)! For now, we’re looking at keeping this as our breakfast home as it appears to be popular and presses many positive buttons for people.

A Few of us had a bit of a tour looking for our new ‘spiritual’ home too, it’s hard to find somewhere that does what we need in its entirety, but for now we may approach the Whitby Sports and Social Club (where we have held our monthly meetings for years) and ask if we can have a semi-permanent space there… more to follow on this.

We’re always after ideas for activities, ride-out destinations, LoH events etc. too, any suggestions then feel free to send them to: contact@devalegionhog.co.uk

This week…

What a week… some good things going on at Deva Legion:

  • We have a great discount deal sorted with Sycamore H-D.
  • We’ve got the Red Arrows Room at Chocks Away Diner booked for our breakfast meeting this Saturday, it’s an open one so there may be non-members there too! Don’t forget to sign in at the gate…
  • Last week saw the road crew do some planning and mapping training – ready to ride again!
  • The Deva Legion Gift Exchange and weekend away in Llangollen was great – well done to Paul Z for planning and to everyone who rocked up, we raised hundreds for Claire House!
  • The current photo comp. is Deva Merch in Odd Places. Keep it clean…

And finally, a massive welcome to our new members, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Sad Times, but keep going…

Not good news coming out of Chester or Manchester H-D this week, it looks like both dealerships are closing until new owners can be found. Not much is known at this stage BUT the Deva Legion, Chester will keep going from strength to strength in the meantime, and we’ve no doubt the Mancuniums will do the same – we look forward to a great 2024 with all of those affected by the closures in our thoughts!
