Executive Summary – Deva Legion Monthly Meeting & AGM
5 February 2026
The February meeting and Annual General Meeting brought together 57 members and provided a comprehensive review of the past year, confirmation of future plans, and the appointment of the 2026 committee.
The Chapter continues to grow, with membership rising from 115 to 124 despite a small fee increase. Attendance at events and trips remains strong, and preparations for the 25th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for the weekend of 10 July, are well underway. The 2026 ride programme is extensive, supported by a well‑organised Road Captain team and confirmed training dates.
The 2025 rally was the most successful to date, generating a financial surplus that has been allocated to charity, advance rally costs, and subsidised member events. Planning for the 2026 rally is progressing strongly, with confidence that it may become the leading UK rally of the year.
The Chapter remains in a healthy financial position. Membership income has increased and although merchandise sales have slowed, stock levels and pricing strategies are being actively managed. The Chapter donated a bulk of its income to charity last year, largely driven by rally success.
Committee officers reported steady progress across their areas:
- Rides & Activities: A fuller ride calendar for 2026 will address last year’s reduced ride‑outs.
- Safety: No incidents were recorded in 2025, and further training (including Biker Down) is scheduled.
- Merchandise: Legacy stock clearance is a priority, with future plans for an online shop window.
- LoH: Engagement remains strong, with a rally theme of “Let’s Glow Girls.”
- Web & Socials: Digital engagement continues to grow positively.
