Not good news coming out of Chester or Manchester H-D this week, it looks like both dealerships are closing until new owners can be found. Not much is known at this stage BUT the Deva Legion, Chester will keep going from strength to strength in the meantime, and we’ve no doubt the Mancuniums will do the same – we look forward to a great 2024 with all of those affected by the closures in our thoughts!

…already! Time marches on, we’ll soon be able to get out there weekly together and enjoy the better weather on the bikes! For now though, let’s have a look at the good things to come in the nearer future: last week was the first Road Crew meeting planning the dates and destinations for 2024! They are going to be great AGAIN. A bit of a change this year, mid-week chippy rides will be ad-hoc, short notice shout outs, and to replace them we’re to trial short post-breakfast ride-outs from the dealership every other Saturday. On the opposite Sundays, we’ll have our decent stretch ride-outs. Details can be found on the website, will be fed gradually on to Facebook, and (if you are a Chapter Member) will be detailed on our own Facebook page too…

This week sees the Deva Legion AGM on Thursday, if you want to come on down for a curry then get in touch. There’s also a breakfast at the weekend too – with the updated notice-board at the dealership and the new Deva Shack taking shape at Fuel Up.

Membership keeps growing for the year – join in!

A really positive evening generated a decent looking calendar of ride outs for 2024! Well done to the Head Road Captain (Suggs) for bringing it all together so smoothly, and to the Road Captains (new ‘n’ old) for stepping up to benefit everyone! So much time, planning and work goes in to it all.

Roll up, roll up, roll up (bacon, egg or sausage) to the Chester Harley-Davidson dealership this weekend (Saturday) as the Deva Legion H.O.G Chapter are meeting for a breakfast and the KTM shop is having an open day… it’ll be buzzing at the Fuel Up Cafe so come on down and meet us all!

It’s bloody freezing out there though so thermals or heated gear on if you are riding – and stay safe!
